This is a rare tooth from the Jurassic age mega-predator, Torvosaurus, beautifully displayed in its original matrix. While showing some natural striations in the dark, shiny enamel, the tooth is in very good condition on both sides, and required only matrix removal and stabilization. It is displayed with the undamaged/complete tip embedded in matrix. The lighter, broken just above the root is the natural break as we found it.
